He joined the Ministry of Industrialization in 1994 as a Statistical Officer, later redesignated as an Industrial Development Officer, and rose through the ranks to become a Deputy Director of Industries and Head of Secretariat, of the Scrap Metal Council. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics and Computer Science.
He has served as a desk officer for various trade and industrial organizations, including AGOA, UNIDO, and the WTO. Has several professional courses from various institutions both locally and internationally.
