Licensing Process
- Create an account and login.
- Add details about the company and directors.
- Submit an application or several.
- Application subjected to secretariat review.
- Application subjected to council review.
- Council decision communicated to the applicant.
- The applicant can lodge an appeal to the cabinet secretary for industrialization in case the applicant is not in agreement with the council's decision.
Before Applying for a License
- Ensure you have the following documents in PDF for uploading:
- Have a Scrap Metal Dealers Association Membership Number and Certificate
- Business Registration certificate
- Business permit
- Plot Title or Lease Agreement
- Tax Compliance Certificate
- Director’s Details i.e. KRA PIN and Certificate of Good Conduct
