Every licensee shall conspicuously display a signboard within his or her premises the manner prescribed.
Every signboard shall (a) bear the full name of the licensee, (b) bear the words “LICENSED SCRAP DEALER” in capital letters, (c) be in English or Kiswahili.
Display of signboards shall not apply to a person who internally generates scrap metal as a result of their internal processes.
Any person who fails to comply with these requirements commits an offence and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding two million shillings.
