The Council may cancel a licence issued under this Act if –

• the licensee becomes bankrupt, or, being a company, goes into liquidation; or
• in the opinion of the Council, the premises of the licensee are unsuitable for dealing in scrap metal;
• the licence was obtained by fraud, misrepresentation or non-disclosure of any material fact;
• the licensee is convicted of an offence involving fraud or dishonesty or theft.
