Cancellation of Licence
The Council may cancel a licence issued under this Act if –
- the licensee becomes bankrupt, or, being a company, goes into liquidation; or
- in the opinion of the Council, the premises of the licensee are unsuitable for dealing in scrap metal;
- the licence was obtained by fraud, misrepresentation or non-disclosure of any material fact;
- the licensee is convicted of an offence involving fraud or dishonesty or theft.
